Hiking at Taal Volcano
My father decided to take us on a hike at Taal Volcano. It was an adventure! Did you know that Taal Volcano is located at Batangas and not at Tagaytay, I didn't. It's well known in Tagaytay because that's where the best view is. And it's not even true cause what we see in Tagaytay is Binintian Volcano. Taal volcano is in the middle of the island and can't be seen right away.
So upon arriving we were offered a boat ride to the island, and where we were supposed to start the hike.
The hike starts with the feeling of determination, that this is my first climb and it's gonna be adventurous and happy! And it was, and it was also so hard and tiring that I couldn't catch my breath. It wasn't so high from afar, but it was when you climb it. Some of it was almost a 60-degree level.
And I ask the question, was it worth it reaching the top? YES! It was very unexpected. I was expecting the Taal Volcano to be containing lava and be in a rage, but it wasn't. It's just a boiling lake, so I was like, what?
Overall it was an extreme experience rode the horse on my way down, and it was way scary. Kinda had the equestrian feels also. We ate at Martha? Mica? Milan? Restaurant, can't remember the name of the place, but my dad said that we had to eat the Maliputo fish, fish that is only found in Taal lake, to complete the experience.
Overall, it was a great experience. And I couldn't wait for more.
