Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet review

Since I got assigned in Eastwood, I now have the chance to explore or navigate the place, and no doubt Eastwood brings the nightlife in the east, but not only that it's also home to famous buffets like sambokojin and something fishy. Now I'm a big fan of Something Fishy, its 200 peso buffet is really worth the price, I guess the only downside is the operational time of 12-3am.

Recently, a huge advertisement on the side of my building was placed. It was Bigoli's breakfast buffet for only 199! Now I didn't pass up the chance since it was really affordable and runs from 5 or 6am to 10am. The only question is, is it worth it?

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet

We were an early riser, I brought along my friend and we went there on a Thursday at 5:45am knowing it would open at 6am. But unfortunately, they weren't able to open at exactly 6am, and some of the customers were already knocking at the door and sadly the staff didn't even bother to entertain or explain what's causing the delay. Some even tried to open the door using force and with success, they got in, and that was the only time the staff talked to the waiting customers. So, my tip, if you want to come early, 30 minutes later after the earliest indicated operational time would be best.

Bigoli's breakfast buffet has 4 stations, All day breakfast, Bigoli favorites, Pancake station, and Salad station.

All-day breakfast is composed of eggs, potato wedges, and sausages, it also had viands that can be for lunch and dinner like pork and vegetables. They also had plain rice and the yummy and heavy filling Italian rice. For me, the best-served food in this station was their fried chicken, it had a zing of butter and garlic that tastes just right.

Next was the Bigoli favorites which was just a small station composed of pizza, nachos, and pasta. I liked this station, gets you out of the normal breakfast mood. Their pepperoni pizza was great, flavorful, they also serve other flavors but not at the same time. I think the other one was cheesy garlic. Pasta also had different variants you can request for a bolognese or carbonara, and they'll make it in front of you. It's not the usual just get some, they usually serve it per plate. Nacho was okay, just the usual thin chips and salsa.

Pancake station was composed of, guess what? Pancakes! The topping was limited to sprinkles only, but aside from chicken, the pancake was also a favorite. It was soft, not overdone, just the right amount of fluff.

Last was the salad station, salad station had lettuce, cabbage, thousand island dressing, ceasar salad dressing, cheese, crouton, carrot, and gelatin. They also had lugaw in front, but it wasn't that good.

Now, was the 199 sulit for Bigoli's breakfast buffet? I'd say compared to Something Fishy it would still go in second place. But I wouldn't want to stay up until 12-3am just for a buffet. So I guess it's still in the sulit range, I just wish they'd add more food like champorado or pichi pichi now.
