How to drink Apple Cider Vinegar?

ACV

So you all know how Apple Cider Vinegar is the wonder potion of the decade. It claims to be a remedy for a lot of stuff, like treating dandruff, lowering cholesterol, and such (ACV Benefits). And being the gym buff wannabe that I am, I wanted to supplement my routines with a faster remedy to achieve my goal. I want to be fit, like toned fit, not flabby fit that when you touch your inner thighs it still sends waveeees to your outer thighs. So my goal is to have a flat stomach and say goodbye to the thunder thighs.

I know ACV is vinegar. I did a lot of research on how to drink this. Most of them say just drink it with honey, it's fine, it's bearable. So I did.

I even bought a *what do you call this? old age feels* anyway, a  cup with a straw cause I didn't want ACV to ruin my teeth, ACV weakens the enamel and will produce cavities.

So I mixed it 2 tbsp ACV, 2 tbsp honey, water, and ice. I noticed the honey was too thick and it clung to the edge of the straw so I couldn't mix it well. Maybe in the future, if someone would still try this try heating the honey so it would mix well with the other ingredients.

I took my first sip, and yeah I thought to myself it was bearable especially with ice. This would taste so bad without ice. But as I progress the ice was melting, ACV was burning my throat and honey was no help. I didn't finish what I prepared to cause the ACV's taste was overpowering. I can not do this every day, it would feel like a chore!

ACV

Fast forward, I did some research. And voila! What you see in the photo is the perfect mix. How is it the perfect mix? Cause you can't even taste the ACV. At times when I increase the ACV portion, it would taste like pineapple's part.

Price:

Daiso Cup - 150.00
Pineapple Blueberry - 69.00
Bragg's ACV (473 mL) - 189.00

Now I look forward to drinking it day and night. So drinking ACV doesn't have to feel like a chore. You can also mix this with grape juice, cranberry, or pure blueberry. Berries have a strong taste that masks the taste of ACV. Next, I will update you if it did make my flabby stomach and thunder thighs smaller in a matter of days or weeks, as what a lot of people claim.

Superbowl Unli Yang Chow review

Hey guys, this another round of food reviews. So this a review about Superbowls latest promo, which is the unly yang chow. We dined at Eastwood, QC, and you can check below their interiors, very homey, very classy.

The unli yang chow cost 70.00 ONLY! I honestly think that this is the most 'sulit' yang chow among the others I've tried. If we didn't feel a little shame we would've ordered the promo alone(we also ordered dumplings).

They serve chips upon entry. They yang chow was served in small portions, for a reason! Eating one to two bowls would already fill you, eating it felt really heavy. They also made sure that the servings always contained little shrimps.

They also had a contest wherein they challenge you to finish as many bowls as you can. Last time we checked the first placer finished 14 bowls. You think it'd be that easy since the servings were really small, but it's far from easy! Unless you're a real champ in these things.

I urge you to check this place out as long as they have their promo. Their regular yang chow costs 200.00+ just for a plate or a single serving, see how much you can save for the unli promo?

Till next time,
Kim

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet review

Since I got assigned in Eastwood, I now have the chance to explore or navigate the place, and no doubt Eastwood brings the nightlife in the east, but not only that it's also home to famous buffets like sambokojin and something fishy. Now I'm a big fan of Something Fishy, its 200 peso buffet is really worth the price, I guess the only downside is the operational time of 12-3am.

Recently, a huge advertisement on the side of my building was placed. It was Bigoli's breakfast buffet for only 199! Now I didn't pass up the chance since it was really affordable and runs from 5 or 6am to 10am. The only question is, is it worth it?

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet

We were an early riser, I brought along my friend and we went there on a Thursday at 5:45am knowing it would open at 6am. But unfortunately, they weren't able to open at exactly 6am, and some of the customers were already knocking at the door and sadly the staff didn't even bother to entertain or explain what's causing the delay. Some even tried to open the door using force and with success, they got in, and that was the only time the staff talked to the waiting customers. So, my tip, if you want to come early, 30 minutes later after the earliest indicated operational time would be best.

Bigoli's breakfast buffet has 4 stations, All day breakfast, Bigoli favorites, Pancake station, and Salad station.

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet

All-day breakfast is composed of eggs, potato wedges, and sausages, it also had viands that can be for lunch and dinner like pork and vegetables. They also had plain rice and the yummy and heavy filling Italian rice. For me, the best-served food in this station was their fried chicken, it had a zing of butter and garlic that tastes just right.

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet

Next was the Bigoli favorites which was just a small station composed of pizza, nachos, and pasta. I liked this station, gets you out of the normal breakfast mood. Their pepperoni pizza was great, flavorful, they also serve other flavors but not at the same time. I think the other one was cheesy garlic. Pasta also had different variants you can request for a bolognese or carbonara, and they'll make it in front of you. It's not the usual just get some, they usually serve it per plate. Nacho was okay, just the usual thin chips and salsa.

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet

Pancake station was composed of, guess what? Pancakes! The topping was limited to sprinkles only, but aside from chicken, the pancake was also a favorite. It was soft, not overdone, just the right amount of fluff.

Bigoli's Breakfast Buffet

Last was the salad station, salad station had lettuce, cabbage, thousand island dressing, ceasar salad dressing, cheese, crouton, carrot, and gelatin. They also had lugaw in front, but it wasn't that good.

Now, was the 199 sulit for Bigoli's breakfast buffet? I'd say compared to Something Fishy it would still go in second place. But I wouldn't want to stay up until 12-3am just for a buffet. So I guess it's still in the sulit range, I just wish they'd add more food like champorado or pichi pichi now.

Zark's Reaper burger review

I was never really a fan of spicy food. I figured, why do I have to go all through this suffering when I can decline every time I encounter it? But with all the hype of Samyang 2x spicy noodles, I thought, could this reaper burger be any spicier than that? And even if I hate spicy foods, with the reaper burger rave I am just curious how it tastes like!

Now I have heard gruesome stories about the main ingredients ghost chili and Carolina Reaper, the hottest peppers, one where a man burned his throat, attempting to get views from eating the ghost pepper or ghost chili.I also heard it in a glee episode, which made me really curious.

Zark's Reaper burger

Experience:

I first tried dipping a fry into the sauce. Oh, I forgot to tell you I bought myself some DQ ice cream mango cheesecake, just in case. At first, you'd feel nothing. I waited for about 5 seconds, I was expecting a burning tongue just like Samyang, but what I got is a burning throat. It was really spicy that I had to take in a few scoops of my ice cream.  When I finally calmed down I tried the burger with the Cayenne pepper spiced bacon and sauce. The same reaction, I was screaming inside and slightly outside. It was really spicy. But compared to the Samyang 2x, that was still spicier.

Taste:

You could easily neglect the taste of the burger since all that surfaced was the spicy feeling. The sauce tasted neither sweet nor salty, just bitterness you get when you taste a really spicy food.

Price:

Affordable for 159.00
+40.00 for fries and drinks
+60.00 for large fries and drinks

Would I try it again:

These are the types of food that you taste for experience, and since I am not a fan of spiciness. I'd say no. But at least I got to try the hottest peppers.

Going to South Korea! (pt. 2)

This is the day 3, 4, and 5 of my South Korea Adventures! I'm also trying a photo app, which is Snapseed just to make the photos more alive in a sensible way; but still didn't tune my images, sorry to lazy for those things, maybe in the future when I take this blogging thing seriously.

Day 3

We went to Everland! As I've said this was my first time traveling internationally and I didn't know how lines go in these amusement parks. I was used to the Enchanted Kingdom weekday, no line days, but here was different. We'd have to wait 30mins to an hour just to get in a single ride. That is also how our Everland turned into an Everzoo. We spent more time with animals than riding the attractions.

Still, the experience was worth it 'cause we got to ride the steepest wooden roller coaster! I swear I didn't expect much, but the feeling of riding T express was beyond.

This is actually called Safari Tour, I just called it Everzoo since we spent most of the time seeing animals. Wasn't really thrilled seeing their condition though. Most lions and tigers were skinny and confined in a single space.

I tried searching what this is called, but couldn't really find it. Anyway, I get to ride one of these! Which I've only seen in movies and TV series.

Day 4

Day 4 was an educational tour day. The seminar was scheduled in the afternoon so we had little time to do a city tour again. This was the day we actually get to see a cherry blossom tree up close.

This was actually my favorite part of the trip, this seminar, it was so informative and I learned a lot. It was actually a 3,4,5? I couldn't even remember the number of hours the seminar was conducted and - oh look, the WiFi password is posted on the wall, yey! This is what I love most about Korea, WiFi service everywhere. You'd survive any 3,4,5 hour...oops. Fun fact, made my seatmate cry during the seminar HAHA! (I know you'd be reading this).

Day 5

Last day in Korea. Have to experience the soju, chicken, and beer nightlife. SoJu tasted like real alcohol, never ever drinking that again. It felt like I wanted to barf as soon as I drank it.

I think we were really on Bus 1, haha! Anyway, these were the folks I get to spend my bus trips with. I got 4 different seatmates of the 5 days we stayed there.

The residence we stayed at. Thankyou Western Co-Op residences even if I felt like I was gonna die from hypothermia and burns in your shower room.

And sadly, it was time to go. I don't know why but Incheon seems to be the coldest among the places I have been in Korea.

So long, someday I will go back to Korea. In the winter season, I hope.
